I started in the security business in 2004, then I worked in several Carrefour stores : Sevran, where I did my classes, Stains, L'Hay les Roses, Claye-Souilly, Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Noisy-le-Grand. Since December 2019, I am in charge of security at the Saint-Denis store.
Our store is quite complicated to manage, small in size but classified as Level 5, with an average of 10,000 customers per day. Located in the heart of the city, right next to a subway station, the tramway and the market, with delinquency and street vendors in front of the store, one of our major problems is external theft by customers who come in with their own shopping carts. There are many arrests, often for small amounts. There are also internal theft problems (two as soon as I arrived), so there are many solutions to be implemented.
With the Thoonsen anti-theft accessories, we have been able to evolve things, because they are effective and very practical. I discovered them in 2015 in the Noisy-le-Grand shop, and they were already in place in Saint-Denis. As I was satisfied, I continued with the products. For example, with the 'classic' textile tags, we had problems with pins disappearing. Since the Hypertag, a 2-in-1 accessory with the pin integrated directly into the system, we no longer lose them and we save time ! The length of the pin is impeccable, well adapted to textile products. The Croco Tag is great for festive products at the end of the year. I use them for salmon, foie gras... The safety rings are also great.

As far as the alcohol department is concerned, I protect 100% of the items. Recently, I have had some theft of premium whisky bottles with large caps. I found the right solution for this type of bottle neck, which can only be found at Thoonsen : the Quick Cap with the integrated cap to prevent decanting. This system is really good.
We have equipped the entire checkout line with Super lock detachers, which prevent theft with small commercial magnets, and are very happy with our customer experience : I only order my accessories from Thoonsen now. I find the responsiveness of the team the most practical and it allows us to work on countermeasures very quickly.
In terms of our total shrinkage results, we've gone from 2.41% at the end of December 2019 to 2.18% at the end of August 2020, and we're hoping to end the year on the same note at 2.25%, to recover €146,000. These are very good figures that the strengthening of the anti-theft with Thoonsen products has allowed us to achieve.
In summary, I am very satisfied and would recommend Thoonsen to others without hesitation. The delivery times are fast, there is a great follow-up. I am very pleased with the service and the quality of the products. The orders are not blocked. And that's really good. The commercial follow-up and the product samples also contribute to the quality of the service. I won't be changing anytime soon !
